First goal met!

I finally reached it to twoderville...yes 299 lbs...I am 31 days post op and down 40 lbs. I lost 3 or 4 before surgery though. I did a little happy dance after stepping off the scale this morning. 40 pounds gone forever and now on to next goal. Oh plus I got a call about my dream job...I have orientation on Oct 13th...hopefully I am okay to go back to work by then...so happy!!!

First Eating Mistake!

I am just over 2 weeks out and just started on mushy food. Today I had half of a scambled egg and half a piece of toast. Too much! I should have recognized my full signal but didn't and then felt the pain. I have had sharp pains in my sides and stomach since yesterday. I told my husband to finish my breakfast and I had to get up and walk around. I then felt sick and threw up some (not nearly half of what I ate though). The pain I had was bad! At breakfast I realized that I didn't have my supper meds and vitamins last night. I also messed up on my drinking. It was such a crazy day yesterday that I forgot to follow the rules for when to drink and when not to. I guess it's all a learning process! Today I am remembering though. I am also down another 7 pounds since last Saturday. Oh and a question...is the constant burping from acid reflux? Because I forgot the pills last night, I found I was burping a lot more. Oh boy...I am starting to miss eating normally!

16 days Post-op



7 more pounds down since last Saturday. Wish it was more but a pound a day is not so bad!

I made my husband a nice spaghetti dinner 2 nights ago and boy did it smell good. I wanted some so bad! I of course did not eat any just tasted the sauce. LOL Thinking I may have that head hunger now. Well today I start on a new diet. This week I can have scrambled egg (a half of one), a 1/2 piece of toast, tuna and salmon, crackers (1-2 small) as well as all food on weeks 1 and 2. I can also add some mayo, ketchup, mustard, vinegar to taste. Mmmm real food! Hopefully this eating thing doesn't cause me to gain weight or slow my progress down LOL.
